Hopefully not, it's waiting for people to join and organising them for each scene that takes the longest and fair point, I've updated the original post now. A couple of rules as a reminder:
Players must use player hacker.
Modded skins are not permitted unless they are based on licensed vehicles (i.e. no racing skins) as we are trying to create realistic city traffic.
It seems as if people missed this weeks announcement so we are rescheduling to next week.
The next filming session will start at 1.30PM London time on January 18th.
Also, we require an FXO to rollover, so if anyone has any suggestions on how to do this then that would be helpful since we seem to be having difficulty.
Filming will resume again on Sunday the 4th of January at 2pm London time, so those that could not make it still have an opportunity. Not many were able to participate for our last session, so we hope to make up for that this week.
Hello all. Just to inform you that the Collateral Collision project is still ongoing and after months of editing we are now ready to commence additional (and hopefully final!) filming once more. For those who missed the unveiling of the project back in August, please view this thread to view the trailer.
Filming will start this Sunday the 8th of February at 1.30pm London time GMT+0 (London time). If you are interested, took part in previous sessions and can make it for this date, then please contact myself or unknownrisks for further details. New users are also more than welcome and server details will be issued via PM accordingly.
As before, we will require players to have the player hacker application (if you don't then we can send it to you) and be willing to drive at slow speeds in road cars to create a convincing city driving sequence. Modded skins are also not permitted unless they are based on licensed cars (i.e. no racing skins).
Well, my account was suspended before due to the BBC and issues with a Top Gear mix I had uploaded, in over a year there had been no problems with any of the other material. They are mainly from rare harder to find movies so hopefully there won't be any problems
Sorry to bump this thread, but I thought it was worth just saying that the trailer has had to be reuploaded due to the suspension of my old account. So if anyone had added it to their favourites before, here is the new link:
As for the full movie, steady progress has been made in the editing and we will still be looking for participants when it comes to filming a few final scenes, most likely during next month when my break begins.
There is also metacafe, my trailer is on there too but suffice to say didn't get many views compared to Youtube. And I have the option to dispute the copyright claim on Youtube, but I am assuming I wont win and risk having my account suspended
How did you end up with that? The only option I see is the option to dispute the copyright, but that poses a risk of getting your account suspended if it is found to be a false dispute. And my account has been suspended before.
Just a quick update on the status of the project. Progress has unfortunately been slow recently due to time issues, but in the coming weeks I should have a lot more time now, which means the project should now come up to speed. So to all those that have been asking when it will be ready - it will be released when it's released
We will also be filming the final scenes soon, so if anyone else is interested then please get in touch and check back here for updates
Thanks for the reply, but a problem I have now found is that modifying some adverts edit both the billboard and the barrier of that advert - seeing a plain barrier texture on a billboard advertisement obviously isn't right. Is there a way to amend this?
